Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are ready to table an offer to sign Juventus attacking sensation Dusan Vlahovic ahead of next season.
According to a report from JuveLive, Arsenal are interested in acquiring the services of Dusan Vlahovic and they are ready to make an offer for the services of the Serbian international.
Vlahovic came up the ranks at Partizan and made a name for himself while playing for their first team before joining Fiorentina in the summer of 2018. On the back of his consistent performances in the Italian top flight, he secured a big-money move to Juventus at the start of 2022.
The Old Lady made a significant investment to acquire his services as they saw him as an ideal replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo. While he has done a decent job with 54 goals and 11 assists in his 129 outings, the 25-year-old has often been linked with a move away from the club.
With less than 18 months left on his deal at Juventus, there are high possibilities that Vlahovic will part ways with the Turin-based outfit in the next transfer window. While there is interest in his services from across Europe, multiple Premier League clubs are very keen on signing him.
Arsenal ready to make an offer for Vlahovic
Arsenal are the ones who have been heavily linked with Serbian striker as they look to end their struggles in the final third of the pitch. Mikel Arteta is in desperate need to bring in a new number nine. He is not happy with the output of Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz isn’t really an out-and-out striker.
With the Brazilian out injured and Bukayo Saka also on the sidelines, the Gunners did want to sign a forward in the winter window. They did make a few moves but things didn’t go according to plan for them. Arsenal will go hard to bring in a world-class striker next summer and Vlahovic is quite high on their wishlist.
He is considered to be an ideal fit for Arteta’s system as he can hold up play and also has the pace to run in behind. The Gunners admire him and are ready to table an offer for his signature. Juventus seem to be open to his departure as long as their demands are met and they have already started looking for potential replacements.
