Manchester United open to Alejandro Garnacho sale this summer

Manchester United are ready to part ways with their academy graduate Alejandro Garnacho next summer.

Manchester United are expected to undergo massive changes in the next summer transfer window. While they will be looking to sign quite a few world-class stars, the Red Devils will also be parting ways with a few of their gems.

According to a report from Fichajes, Ruben Amorim’s team are willing to sanction the departure of Alejandro Garnacho. The Agrentine’s sale could raise significant funds helping them ease financial concerns and allowing them to move freely in the market.

While Garnacho has had a sensational rise at Old Trafford since breaking into United’s first team in 2022, he hasn’t been enjoying life under Amorim. The 20-year-old winger was dropped from the squad for the derby against Manchester City and he has only started in three out of their last nine league games.

The lack of game time under the Portuguese manager led to a lot of talk about his future and quite a few top clubs were keen on signing him. The Red Devils were open to his departure in the winter window as long as their demands were met.

Garnacho remains on the market

While a few clubs did knock on their doors, they didn’t receive any significant offers for him. He has ended up staying at the club but his future at Old Trafford remains up in the air. The Reds Devils are still open to his departure as they look to ease the financial pressure.

They need to raise funds to move freely in the transfer market and make the necessary changes to help Amorim better implement his style. The Portuguese manager has identified a lot of areas that need reinforcement and the club are reportedly ready to part ways with some of their most valuable players to make it happen.

They value Garnacho at £70 million and an offer in that region will be good enough to prise away the versatile forward from Old Trafford ahead of next season. United’s financial constraints force them to make some bold moves and letting the Argentine leave is certainly a massive call.
