Arsenal, Chelsea, and Real Madrid have suffered a massive blow in their pursuit of Bayern Munich mainstay Jamal Musiala.
According to a report from Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, Jamal Musiala is expected to pen down a new deal at Bayern Munich amidst interest in his services from the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, and Real Madrid.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder has not looked back since he parted ways with Chelsea to join Bayern Munich back in 2019. Just 12 months after moving to Germany, the young whizkid broke into the Bavarian club’s first team, and he has only gone from strength to strength since.
European giants are keen on signing Jamal Musiala
Musiala is considered to be one of the best young players in the world, and there is no shortage of interest in his services. He has often been linked with a move back to England and of late, Arsenal and Chelsea have been quite keen on his signature.
The German international’s current contract with Bayern Munich runs out in the summer of 2026 and since contract renewal talks had reached a standstill, there was a lot of uncertainty around his future. Apart from the two London clubs, Real Madrid have also been linked with Jamal Musiala.
Los Blancos are always on the lookout for players who can help them maintain their dominance and Musiala can certainly be a great addition to their star-studded squad. The Gunners are also looking to add another X-factor player to their ranks and won’t mind having someone who can feature almost anywhere in attack.
Musiala to continue at Bayern Munich
Chelsea want to re-sign the 21-year-old sensation, who was on their books during his youth days. While some of the biggest clubs were after his signature, and they were in contact with his representatives, Bayern Munich are still confident about extending his stay at the Allianz Arena.
Musiala had put contract renewal talks on hold before December, but those discussions are back underway. Bayern Munich are looking to step up their efforts, and they are confident that he will put pen on paper to a new deal. The Bundesliga club hope Alphonso Davies’s new contract could help convince the former Chelsea youth star to put pen to paper.
While Arsenal, Chelsea, and Real Madrid will continue to keep an eye on the 21-year-old German internaitonal, they do believe that he will eventually sign a new long-term deal and commit his future to Bayern Munich.
