Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are optimistic about acquiring the services of Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham target Sverre Nypan.
Sverre Nypan has made quite a name for himself with his sensational rise at Rosenborg. He is considered to be one of the most exciting young talents in the world and multiple top clubs from across Europe are after his signature.
According to a report from TBR, Sverre Nypan has held talks with Premier League giants Arsenal regarding a move to North London and they are quite confident about luring him to their club despite the fact that rivals Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham are all after his services.
Nypan got promoted to the Rosenborg first team in the summer of 2022 and he hasn’t looked back since. The 18-year-old midfield sensation already has 13 goals and 11 assists in his senior career. While he prefers playing as a central midfielder, he can feature in a deeper role, as a number ten as well as a number nine when needed.

His impressive rise and massive potential have placed him on the wishlist of quite a few top clubs. Manchester United are one of the clubs that have been keeping a close eye on the teenager. They have a long-standing interest in him and would love to have him in their squad.
Chelsea and Tottenham have also showcased a lot of interest in him in the ongoing transfer window. The Blues have been focused on signing young stars with massive potential since their takeover while Spurs have adopted a similar policy since the arrival of Ange Postecoglou.
Arsenal to win the race for Nypan?
While United, Chelsea and Tottenham are all interested in Nypan, Arsenal are believed to be the ones leading the race for his signature. The Gunners have been monitoring him of late and have already held talks with the teenager reading a move to the Emirates.
Mikel Arteta’s team are optimistic about getting a deal over the line for him in the near future. As far as the player is concerned, he has yet to make a decision on his future. Rosenborg has made it clear to the youngster that he is free to choose his next club as long as they receive a fee worth at least £10 million.
