Bayern Munich open to selling Leroy Sane for £20-25 million this month

Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane has been linked to the move away from the Bundesliga club in recent months.

Chelsea and Liverpool are reportedly keen on signing Leroy Sane, and Bayern Munich will be open to selling the player for a fee of around £20-25 million this month. He is in the final few months of his contract, and the Bundesliga club will lose him as a free agent at the end of the season.

According to a report by Football Insider, Chelsea and Liverpool will be able to sign the German international on a bargain in January. It will be interesting to see if they step up their move for the player in the coming weeks.

Leroy Sane has played in the Premier League, and he has proven himself in English football over the years before joining Bayern Munich in a £55 million deal. He could be an exceptional acquisition for both clubs. Liverpool need more quality and depth in the wide areas. Mohamed Salah will be out of contract in the summer, and they need to replace him adequately, with Sane emerging as a target.

Sane plays on the right flank, and he could be a natural replacement for the Egyptian International. Although the 28-year-old might not be able to match up to Salah’s end product, he could still be a very good addition. The player has helped Manchester City win league titles in the past, and there is no doubt that he is good enough for Liverpool. It will be interesting to see if the Premier League side can convince to return to England this month.

Sane would improve both teams

Liverpool are in the middle of a title race right now, and signing a player like Sane would be a huge boost for them. He could improve the Merseyside outfit in the final third and help them win the league title.

Similarly, Chelsea have made an impressive start to the season as well. They are very much in the title race, and signing a top-quality player could make a huge difference for them. It remains to be seen whether they decide to make a move for the German international. There is no doubt that both clubs have the finances to get the deal across the line.

Chelsea need quality wide players, especially with the way Noni Madueke and Mykhailo Mudryk have performed since joining them. In addition, Mudryk is indefinitely suspended after his recent doping controversy. The £55 million German forward would be a quality addition for them.
