Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham and Fulham keen on Douglas Luiz

A host of Premier League sides are eager to explore a move for Douglas Luiz, who could leave Juventus on a permanent basis this month.

According to Tutto Mercato Web, At least four Premier League sides are eager to explore a move for Douglas Luiz following his disappointing time at Juventus. The Serie A giants are open to finding a permanent solution for the Brazilian, with Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham and Fulham keen.

Douglas Luiz was a player that many Premier League sides coveted in the past as he excelled at Aston Villa. Arsenal were one of those, who have seen multiple bids rejected in the past by Villa for the 26-year-old Brazilian, and hence, it came as a big surprise to see him leave the Premier League for Juventus last summer.

It was a complicated deal between the two clubs as at least two players came to Villa, who also received a huge chunk of cash. Juventus had hoped to see the best of the Brazilian, but so far, Thiago Motta has preferred manual Locatelli and Khephren Thuram over the 26-year-old Brazilian midfielder.

Earlier reports indicated Juventus were not considering a sale, but things might have changed in the background as Luiz could be pushing for an exit. The Brazilian is eager to play regularly, and a move back to the Premier League would seem like the natural order for the 26-year-old Brazilian midfielder.

There are at least four clubs interested in the Premier League, including Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham and Fulham. Starting Spurs are in the market for a midfielder, although they have other priorities like the attack and defence, meaning a midfielder might be the least of their concerns, especially if Luiz’s price is high.

Could Douglas Luiz leave Juventus?

As he wants to play regularly, he could potentially look at the Premier League as a good enough destination. Aston Villa were linked earlier, but unlikely to make a move. However, Fulham are keen to sign him, given Marco Silva is eager to bring some quality reinforcemtns for their push towards European football. Arsenal are also keen, but their interest is not understood to be concrete, as they are well-stocked in their midfield.

Meanwhile, Manchester United poses an interesting option for Luiz, as Ruben Amorim wants midfield reinforcements. Juventus are open to offering Luiz for Joshua Zirkzee, with a deal for the Dutch striker likely to materialise this month, as an exchange might suit all parties.
