Juventus could offer Danilo or Douglas Luiz in deal to sign Joshua Zirkzee

Juventus are reportedly ready to offer Danilo or Douglas Luiz in the deal to sign 23-year-old Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee.

Joshua Zirkzee has not been able to adapt to the Premier League so far, and his performances have been rather underwhelming. The Dutchman has been linked with a move away from the club, and a report from Calciomercato has claimed that the Serie A outfit would be willing to offer Danilo or Douglas Luiz in a deal to sign the striker.

Juventus are looking to bring in attacking reinforcements, and Zirkzee could prove to be a quality addition for them. He has shown his quality in Serie A football with Bologna, and a return to his comfort zone could bring out the best in him.

It is evident that Joshua Zirkzee is struggling in the Premier League, and a move away from Manchester United would be ideal. There is no doubt that the Dutch attacker has the quality to play for top clubs like Juventus, and he will look to get back to his best soon.

Serie A return could be ideal for Zirkzee

A move to Juventus would give Joshua Zirkzee a fresh start, and he would get to recapture his form and confidence in familiar surroundings. Juventus could offer him the platform to push for major trophies as well. It will be interesting to see if the Italian outfit decide to test their luck with an offer in January. Douglas Luiz has struggled since sealing a €50 million move from Aston Villa, while Danilo is a veteran and declining.

Manchester United are already lacking in depth in the attacking unit, and it would be quite surprising if they decided to sanction the departure of the striker midway through the season. It is fair to assume that the Serie A outfit might have to wait until the summer transfer window in order to get the deal done.

Also, player exchange deals are often complicated and it remains to be seen whether the two clubs can execute it in the coming months. Manchester United will probably be receptive to the idea of letting the striker leave, but an exchange deal might not be ideal for them. They could look to recoup the money they paid for the player and invest in a better striker in the coming months.
