Marco Asensio has struggled to stamp his authority since joining Paris Saint-Germain in a Bosman move in July 2023 after his contract with Real Madrid expired. The Spaniard was eager to embark on a new adventure and start afresh in Ligue 1, but he has blown hot and cold in the last 18 months.
The 28-year-old has been in and out of the PSG starting lineup this season, managing only 748 minutes of game time across 15 appearances in all competitions while chipping in with two goals and four assists.
