Tottenham seriously mulling over winter move for Patrick Dorgu

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on signing 20-year-old Danish whizkid Patrick Dorgu from Serie A club US Lecce.

According to a report by Give Me Sport, Patrick Dorgu is on the radar of Premier League rivals Chelsea as well, and Tottenham want to secure his services in the winter transfer window.

Tottenham could certainly use a quality left-back, and the Denmark international would be a quality addition. Destiny Udogie has been quite mediocre this season, and Ben Davies will likely leave when he becomes out of contract at the end of the season. Signing another left-back should be one of their priorities, and it is no surprise that Tottenham are keeping tabs on Dorgu.

The 20-year-old has shown his quality in Serie A football, and he has the ability to succeed in the Premier League as well. He could prove to be a quality long-term addition to Tottenham. The youngster is regarded as one of the finest young talents in European football right now, and he could be a superb investment for Tottenham.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are keen on the player as well. They could certainly use upgrades on Marc Cucurella and Renato Veiga. The Denmark international has the quality to compete at the highest level, and he could be an important first-team player for Chelsea in the long term.

Dorgu might fancy Premier League move
