Arsenal, Chelsea, and Newcastle United are reportedly keen on the Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush, who has been linked with Liverpool.
According to TBR football, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Newcastle United are making checks on Omar Marmoush ahead of a potential move. The striker is reportedly valued at £50 million by Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Egyptian international has been linked with Liverpool as well, but the Reds are yet to initiate talks regarding a potential move. Nevertheless, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Newcastle United have been scouting him recently. It will be interesting to see if they follow up on their interest with their official offer to sign him.
The 25-year-old has done quite well this season, and he could improve the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle. The striker has 14 goals and 10 assists in 17 appearances across all competitions this season. Arsenal need a quality upgrade on Gabriel Jesus, and the Egyptian would be the ideal acquisition for them.
Similarly, Chelsea need more support in the attack for Nicolas Jackson. Although the former Villarreal attacker has shown improvement this season, he needs more help, and Marmoush could share the goal scoring burden with him.
As far as Newcastle United are concerned, they have been overly dependent on Alexander Isak, and the Swedish international has been linked with an exit amid interest from Arsenal and Chelsea. It will be interesting to see if the Magpies can get the deal done for the Egyptian international soon.
Liverpool reluctant to step up pursuit?
Liverpool are keeping tabs on Omar Marmoush’s situation, and it will be interesting to see if they decide to make a move for the player. Darwin Nunez has not been able to score goals consistently, and Liverpool could use a reliable finisher. In addition, Mohamed Salah will be a free agent in the summer of 2025, and Liverpool will need to replace his end product as well if he leaves.
The Egyptian would be a quality acquisition for all four clubs, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up. They have the financial muscle to pay the £50 million asking price as well, and the player has the ability to justify the investment in the long term. He is still relatively young with room for development in the coming years.
