Manchester United seriously pursuing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia move

Manchester United is keen to sign Khvicha Kvaratskhelia next summer and is ready to make a big contract offer to tempt the Georgian.

According to Sport Mediaset, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has emerged as a big target for Manchester United ahead of next summer. The Red Devils are eager to lure the Georgian attacker with a €9 million per season offer that would trump what his current club, Napoli, has put on the table.

There were some doubts about Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s future last summer when PSG came calling with a big offer. The Parisians wanted to take advantage of the winger’s salary at Napoli and reportedly offered him €10 million per season in net wages to leave Naples.

However, Napoli’s asking price was a huge problem, and they did not want to let the Georgians leave in the first place. Napoli were dealing with Victor Osimhen’s fractured exit then, and new boss Antonio Conte would have been unhappy had Kvaratskhelia also left.

The winger has been instrumental for Napoli over the years, especially in the title-winning campaign and the current one under Conte, where they are challenging for the Scudetto again. He currently draws slightly over €2 million per year in gross wages, as the Serie A giants are eager to tie him down to a new deal with a € 6 million net salary offer on the table, including bonuses.

Manchester United are eager to sign Kvaratskhelia next summer and are willing to make a sensational €9 million per season net offer to the winger and lure him away. Napoli have made it clear they are unwilling to go beyond €6 million per season, which could pave the way for the Red Devils to make their move.

Can Manchester United sign Khvicha Kvaratskhelia next summer?

On the financial side, Manchester United’s offer could be a huge plus for Kvaratskhelia in furthering his career. Ruben Amorim wants him at the club, and he could be one of those signings that galvanise the entire squad. However, the Georgian has other suitors, with some reports suggesting he might prefer a move to clubs like Arsenal or Liverpool, which points to his desire to play Champions League football.

Continental sides like PSG and Barcelona are also keen, although Napoli’s asking price would be a big problem. Manchester United are reportedly open to breaking the bank for the winger, who could cost a fee of €100 million next summer should Napoli decide to sell him.
