Italian giants Juventus are plotting a raid on Chelsea to sign Benoit Badiashile, Ben Chilwell, and Cesare Casadei.
Juventus are looking at the winter transfer window as an opportunity to reinforce their squad as they want to remain competitive in the Serie A as well as Europe. According to a report from Fichajes, the Old Lady are looking to knock on the doors of Chelsea for three first-team players Benoit Badiashile, Ben Chilwell, and Cesare Casadei.
The Turin-based outfit have struggled because of injuries and Thiago Motta is keen on adding the necessary quality to ensure they can return to their absolute best.
Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal have both picked up serious injuries and they are unlikely to return to action until next season. Their absence has caused quite a few problems for them at the back as Bremer was their go-to man at the back while Cabal was doing wonders on the left flank.
Juventus could look to buy three Chelsea stars
Juventus might not have a limited budget but they are looking to make the most out of it in January. They are considering making moves for Chelsea players who are not a key part of their first team under Enzo Maresca.
In order to cope with the loss of Cabal, the Turin-based outfit are looking to push for the services of Ben Chilwell who is surplus to requirements at Chelsea and has only played 45 minutes in the EFL Cup. The Blues want him off their books and the player is also keen on moving to a different club to revive his career.
The English international is only 27 and he could be a great acquisition for Juventus given the kind of talent he possesses. His offensive playing style is a perfect fit for Motta’s system.
The Old Lady are looking at Benoit Badiashile to add more quality to the heart of their defence. While the French centre-back is a top talent, he has racked up less than 800 minutes for Chelsea this season and a move away could help him have a more prominent role.
He has the experience of playing in the Premier League and at 23, he could be a great long-term signing for them. Apart from the backline, Juventus are also interested in adding more quality to their midfield with the future of Nicolo Fagioli uncertain.
They are looking at Cesare Casadei who has less than 250 minutes of first-team action so far. They want to bring the Italian youth international back to his homeland. He is only 21 and has the potential to be a special player in the long run.
