At least three big Premier League sides are chasing the signature of Motherwell’s teenage midfielder Lennon Miller next summer.
According to Football Insider, Lennon Miller has continued to attract interest from a host of top Premier League sides. A summer move away from Motherwell could be on the cards for the exciting teenage midfielder, as Liverpool, Manchester United, Aston Villa and Chelsea are those chasing him.
Premier League sides are always alert to the prospect of signing a top young talent from other leagues or clubs. There’s a growing emphasis on youth signings that has grown exponentially over the last few years, and there’s a big competition brewing in the background between the big clubs in this aspect.
The influence of PSR over the last few seasons has now made clubs work harder to develop academy talents. Many top teams are looking at the idea of developing and then selling them to balance their books for the future.
Aston Villa, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Chelsea have been very active in the youth markets and are actively looking for players who are closer to breaking into the first team. They have collectively set sights on Scottish teenage talent Lennon Miller, as the 18-year-old could be looking at an exit from Motherwell next summer.
