Tottenham rival Liverpool, Bayern Munich in Takefusa Kubo chase

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on signing 23-year-old Japanese winger Takefusa Kubo from La Liga club Real Sociedad.

Takefusa Kubo has done quite well in La Liga, and his performances have attracted the attention of Liverpool and Bayern Munich as well. According to Fichajes, the Japanese international will cost €60 million, and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham are willing to pay up.

The 23-year-old winger is capable of operating as a right-sided winger as well as a central attacking midfielder. He will add creativity, technical ability, and unpredictability to their attack. Dejan Kulusevski has switched to a central role this season, and Tottenham could certainly use a left-footed winger on the right side of their attack.

The Japanese international would be the ideal fit for that role. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham are willing to pay the €60 million asking price for him. Kubo is highly rated across Europe and he has a bright future. He could develop into a top-class attacker in the Premier League with the right guidance.

Liverpool and Bayern Munich keen

Takefusa Kubo has been linked with Liverpool as well, and it is no surprise that the Reds are keeping tabs on him. They need to find a long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah, who will be a free agent in the summer of 2025 if he does not sign a new deal. The Japanese winger certainly seems like the ideal replacement, and it remains to be seen whether they can get a deal done.

As far as Bayern Munich are concerned, players like Leroy Sane have been linked with an exit in recent weeks, and it will be interesting to see if the Bundesliga giants decide to move for the La Liga attacker. All three clubs would be exciting destinations for the young winger, and he will look to push for trophies with them. It remains to be seen how the situation unfolds.

The reported €60 million asking price might seem like a premium, but the youngster has the physical and technical attributes to adapt to English football and establish himself as a key player for them. He might end up justifying the investment in the long run.
