The Blaugrana dispatched scouts to watch the Newcastle United striker in the Premier League game against Nottingham Forest this past weekend. Meanwhile, the Swedish international is also a target for Arsenal and Chelsea.

Alexander Isak has gone from strength to strength since joining Newcastle United from Real Sociedad in a big-money deal in August 2022. While the Swede has endured fitness issues throughout his spell with the Tyneside outfit, he has justified the significant outlay with his exploits on the pitch.
The 25-year-old has proven his credentials again this season, amassing five goals and two assists in 11 appearances across all competitions. Meanwhile, Isak’s progress in the last two years has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several high-profile clubs across Europe, including Arsenal, Chelsea, and Barcelona.
A man in demand
Widespread reports have suggested that the Swedish striker is the “dream target” for Arsenal. While a winter move might not see the light of day, he is a viable target for the North London club, considering Gabriel Jesus has not been prolific.
