Chelsea and Manchester United are reportedly keen on signing 24-year-old Brazilian attacker Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid.

According to a report from Spanish outlet Fichajes, Chelsea and Manchester United are interested in signing Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Junior, who has 15 goal contributions this season.

The Brazilian has established himself as one of the best players in the world, and he could prove to be an exceptional acquisition for the two English clubs. Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain are also involved in the three-way battle for his signature.

Vinicius Junior helped Real Madrid win the league title and the UEFA Champions League last season, and he scored 24 goals in the process. He has been hot off the blocks this season, already contributing to 15 goals thus far.

He was expected to be crowned the best player in the world earlier this month but missed out on the Ballon d’Or to Manchester City star Rodri. According to Fichajes, the player could be on his way out of Real Madrid, and it remains to be seen whether the two English clubs can get a deal done.

Chelsea could certainly use a world-class winger like him, and he could transform them in the attack. He would be a major upgrade on their current options. Vinicius Junior will not only add goals and creativity to the side, but his ability to perform in the big games will be an invaluable quality to have.

He has already proven himself in La Liga, and it will be interesting to see if he is willing to move to England now. It would be an exciting opportunity for him, and he would get to test himself in the Premier League.

Manchester United keen on Vinicius

Manchester United need to bring in an upgrade on Antony. Vinicius Junior would be a tremendous upgrade on his compatriot. It remains to be seen how the situation develops. Real Madrid will not want to lose one of their best players, and they will make it difficult for Chelsea and Manchester United to get a deal done.

It remains to be seen whether the two English clubs come forward with an offer to sign him from Real Madrid in the coming months. They have the financial muscle to pay big money for the Brazilian, and it remains to be seen how the situation unfolds. However, Real Madrid will look to tie him to a new contract.
