Arsenal could part ways with Raheem Sterling next year amid Antoine Semenyo, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens links

Raheem Sterling may not be a part of Arsenal’s plans next year, as the winger could leave as the club might look at other attacking targets.

According to Charles Watts on Caught Offside, Arsnela may not retain Raheem Sterling, with the winger in with a solid chance to depart next year. Mikel Arteta might enter future windows looking for a new wide attacker, with Charles Watts even giving his take on targets like Jamie Bynoe-Gittens and Antoine Semenyo.

Raheem Sterling to leave Arsenal next year?

Raheem Sterling was considered an opportunistic signing late on deadline day, as Arsenal scampered through the formalities to get him over the line. At the time of his arrival, it was seen as a viable deal from a financial and sporting standpoint, with the Gunners barely paying anything of significance to have him in the squad, given how high his wages are.

Either way, fans have yet to see Sterling hit the ground running; despite a good performance against Bolton, Sterling has barely performed. In fact, some might blame the situation on Mikel Arteta, as the manager has not provided enough game time to the high-profile star.

Despite reports a few weeks ago claiming that Sterling could sign for Arsenal permanently in 2025, expert Charles Watts insists otherwise. He suggested that the winger could leave in 2025, which would probably be next summer, as the Gunners might look for other targets in the wide areas like Jamie Bynoe-Gittens or even Antoine Semenyo.

Watts said, “Antoine Semenyo has had a strong start to the season for Bournemouth and his comments that he is an Arsenal fan certainly caught the attention of some fans,”

“He certainly plays in an area where the club will look to strengthen their options in the summer and his performances for Bournemouth are clearly making some top clubs take notice.

Jamie Gittens is another player who has been named as a potential target for Arsenal.

“But, like Semenyo, it’s really too early to be talking with any real substance about who the club might look to bring in to strengthen their squad.

“Gittens has caught the eye of late and we know Arsenal will be looking at options out wide. They have Raheem Sterling right now, but it’s tough to see that loan being made permanent come the end of the campaign.”

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens and Antoine Semenyo linked with Arsenal

Arsenal are indeed one of the clubs interested in Bynoe-Gittens, alongside a few of their other Premier League counterparts. The Borussia Dortmund star could be the next English sale from the club, as the German side are eager to fetch a large sum from his sale.

Semenyo might cost significantly in January and probably next summer, as Bournemouth will be powerless to stop him. The Ghanaian winger has impressed with his displays this season and is on the radar of many other clubs, notably Tottenham and Newcastle United.
