According to Fabrizio Romano via Caught Offside, Josh Acheampong is considered an integral part of Chelsea’s project, and they have no intentions of sanctioning his departure amidst interest from Newcastle United.
Acheampong has come up the ranks at the West London club, and he is currently a part of their Under-21 side. While he is yet to be promoted to their first team, the teenage full-back has already featured for their first team.
He still has over 18 months left on his deal, and the Blues are keen on having him around for years as they feel he could soon establish himself as a regular in the senior side.
