Mykhailo Mudryk inching closer to Chelsea departure

Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk has been linked with a move away from the West London club in recent months.

According to a report by Football Insider, Mykhailo Mudryk is now edging closer to an exit from Chelsea. There has been increased speculation surrounding his future at the West London club in the last few weeks, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up.

The Ukrainian international has recently been linked with clubs like Bayern Munich and Marseille. He was linked with Arsenal before he joined Chelsea. Mudryk has not been able to live up to the expectations at Chelsea since joining the club, and it would not be surprising if the Chelsea hierarchy decided to sanction his departure.

The Blues need more quality in the wide areas, and bringing in an upgrade on Mudryk would be ideal. The Ukrainian international is currently lacking in form and confidence. It will be interesting to see if they decide to cash in on the player and invest the proceeds from his departure into the playing squad.

They paid a substantial amount of money to sign the 23-year-old from Shakhtar Donetsk in January 2023, and they will be fully aware that they will not be able to recoup that kind of money from his exit.

Can Mudryk find a suitable destination?

It will be interesting to see where Mudryk ends up. He was regarded as a top-class acting talent during his time at Shakhtar Donetsk. He has not been able to hit top form since the move to the Premier League. Perhaps a move away from England could be ideal for him, even though he remains committed to Chelsea.

Regular football at another club could bring out the best in the winger. He is versatile enough to operate on both flanks, and he could add goals and creativity to the side. If the Ukrainian internationL manages to regain his sharpness, he could be a long-term asset for most clubs.

The 23-year-old has previously shown his quality in his homeland and in the Champions League with Shakhtar Donetsk. There is no doubt that there is a quality player in there, and a fresh start could do wonders for the player. Chelsea will look to do well this season, and they need more quality in the final third. Signing a dynamic forward in January would be a wise decision.
