Chelsea lay down challenge for Mykhailo Mudryk, Noni Madueke and Christopher Nkunku

Chelsea have made it clear to Mykhailo Mudryk, Noni Madueke, and Christopher Nkunku that their future at the club is on the line.

Despite all the financial fair play concerns, Chelsea were still one of the most active clubs in the recently concluded summer transfer window. The Blues managed to add more quality to the mix but they need to get rid of a few of their players to ensure they maintain the balance.

They have too many star forwards in their squad and it is not sustainable for them to keep hold of all of them in the long run. As a result, they will be looking to part ways with players who are unable to perform at the top level. According to a report from TBR, the Blues have informed Mykhailo Mudryk, Noni Madueke and Christopher Nkunku that their future at the club is at stake.

The London club do not have any shortage of attacking talent. Apart from the three, Nicolas Jackson, Cole Palmer, Joao Felix, Jadon Sancho and Pedro Neto are some of their star forwards and the majority of them have been doing well under Enzo Maresca.

Mudryk, Madueke & Nkunku are under pressure

The Blues are ready to make some tough calls and let go of a few of their star attackers. Mykhailo Mudryk, Noni Madueke and Christopher Nkunku are three stars who hadn’t reached the expected levels heading into the 2024/25 season.

The management has informed all three of them that they are playing for their future at the club. If they do not live up to the expectations of the Italian manager, the Blues won’t think twice before sanctioning their departure.

They have reacted well to the news and seem quite determined to prove their worth at Chelsea. Madueke has already had a few outstanding performances so far. He has four goals in his six outings and if he continues in a similar fashion, they won’t mind keeping him in their ranks.

Mudryk and Nkunku have had limited game time in the Premier League. They will have to put in incredible performances in the few opportunities they get to turn things around. Failing to fire at this point could prove costly as there is no shortage of options at the London club.
