Mudryk has barely performed at decent levels since his arrival and has steadily fallen out of favour under new manager Enzo Maresca. The Italian boss did make some direct comments about his form and performances, and he has not selected him in two of the four Premier League games this season. Moreover, the arrival of Jadon Sancho could further diminish his status on the side and reduce his game time.
Chelsea could offload Mudryk in January if they can get a decent offer, although the chances of a permanent move seem remote. Hence, they could view a loan deal as something acceptable in these circumstances, with the player also likely to consider an exit if his game time diminishes.
