Arsenal, Liverpool ran rule over Angel Gomes on England debut, Chelsea also keen

Angel Gomes has been linked with a return to the Premier League in recent months and the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool are keen on him.

According to TEAMtalk, Arsenal and Liverpool scouted Angel Gomes in action when he was representing England on his international debut. It will be interesting to see if the two Premier League bigwigs decide to follow up on their interest with an official offer to sign the 24-year-old midfielder.

The former Manchester United midfielder is reportedly on the radar of Chelsea as well. It remains to be seen where he ends up. He has proven himself to be a reliable performer in Ligue 1 for Ligue 1 club LOSC Lille. The Englishman has the physical and technical attributes to do well in the Premier League, and he could be a key player for Arsenal or Liverpool.

Arsenal could certainly use more quality and depth in the middle of the park, and the 24-year-old could develop into an important first-team player for them with the right guidance. Angel Gomes will be available as a free agent next year, and he could prove to be a superb investment for the North London club.

Similarly, Liverpool’s interest in Gomes makes sense. The Reds could use more cutting edge in the final third and signing him on a free transfer would represent excellent business. It remains to be seen where he ends up.

Angel Gomes will fancy Premier League move

The English midfielder will be attracted to the idea of joining the two Premier League clubs if there is a concrete proposal on the table. They are among the biggest clubs in the world, and the opportunity to play for them can be hard to turn down for most players. However, he reportedly wants to explore a return to Manchester United.

Furthermore, Chelsea are keeping tabs on his situation as well, and it remains to be seen whether the Blues decide to make a move for the player. All three clubs at the financial resources to get the deal done and they could offer him a bumper contract as well. Angel Gomes will be able to secure a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs in January, and the three English clubs will certainly hope to secure his signature then.
