Arsenal could be willing to offer Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus in an exchange deal to sign Inter Milan ace Marcus Thuram.
According to a report from InterLive.it, Arsenal are keen on reinforcing their attack and they are interested in the services of Marcus Thuram. The French forward has been in sensational form for Inter Milan and the Gunners could look to offer Gabriel Jesus in an exchange deal to sign the former Borussia Mönchengladbach forward.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have added more quality to their midfield as well as their defence after once again missing out on the Premier League title last time out. They were also keen on signing a new striker. The Spanish manager was not happy with the output of his strikers and wanted to bring in a new number nine.
They were linked with RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko but couldn’t strike a deal for his services. While he is still their priority target for the role, the Gunners are also looking at Inter Milan’s Marcus Thuram. The 27-year-old forward has only gone from strength to strength since making the move to Italy in the summer of 2023.

He has started the 2024/25 season in fine fashion with four goals and two assists in his three outings. His performances have put him on the radar of Arsenal who want a top-quality striker who can help them take the next step.
While the French international still has four years left on his deal at Inter, Arsenal are considering making a move for his services next summer. Given the amount of experience he has, Thuram could become an integral part of their first team in no time.
In order to strike a deal with the Italian club, they are willing to offer the services of Gabriel Jesus in exchange. The Brazilian forward who joined the Gunners in the summer of 2022 from Manchester City hasn’t lived up to the expectations, he only has 19 goals in 70 outings.
Since the 27-year-old Brazilian forward has a similar market value, the Gunners could offer him in exchange for the services of Thuram. If Inter do end up sitting on the negotiation table, Arsenal were also willing to offer a substantial amount of cash to get the deal over the line.
