Manchester United keeping tabs on Ali Sahin Yilmaz

Manchester United are keeping close tabs on Trabzonspor defensive talent Ali Sahin Yilmaz ahead of future transfer windows.

According to Turkish outlet Skorer, Manchester United are monitoring Ali Sahin Yilmaz ahead of future windows. The Red Devils are in the market for young talents who could improve their future squads and could continue monitoring the 20-year-old Turkish defensive prospect from Trabzonspor over the next few months.

Trabzonspor might have a future star in the form of Ali Sahin Yilmaz. The defender has not yet featured for the club’s first team, but his promotion from the junior side to the senior group significantly indicates things to come in the future.

The 20-year-old Turkish defensive prospect is keen to show his talent on the pitch but is currently not able to break through as a starter. If he manages to stay patient, the defender could get enough minutes during the current campaign, which would certainly boost his appetite.

Sahin has a contract with Trabzonspor until 2027, meaning the club is not worried about the player’s reported unhappiness at not getting opportunities in the current scenario. However, they could consider a sale if a suitable offer arrives, with Manchester United keeping close tabs on the defender’s situation.

Manchester United has reported that he has been added to a list of potential targets for future windows. They view the 20-year-old Turkish defensive prospect as a special player for the future. Whether they are ready to make a move in January remains the question, as they will aim to keep monitoring Sahin’s situation at Trabzonspor for the next few months.

Manchester United want a young defender

The Red Devils did bring some critical defensive reinforcements in the summer in the form of Leny Yoro, Matthijs De Ligt, and Noussair Mazraoui. Yoro is 18 but already a player who seems ready to start games for the Red Devils. The club also had sights on Aaron Anselmino, who has since joined Chelsea but returned to Boca Juniors on a season-long loan deal.

They had other names on their list that fit their mould for future squads, and now they could have added Sahin to that. Getting the Trabzonspor star might be easy for Manchester United. However, should the Turkish side offer the 20-year-old regular opportunities, he may even look to stay and continue his development there.
