According to Fichajes, Carney Chukwuemeka is a definitive target for AC Milan in the January window. The Rossoneri are eager to snap up another one of Chelsea’s unwanted stars and view the 20-year-old as someone who would improve their squad.

AC Milan have built recent success at the back of some players that were deemed unwanted by other clubs. Their transfer strategy in recent years have focused on bringing in those stars that are financially viable and looking for a good enough platform, while they have engaged with Chelsea for quite a lot of players.
From Fikayo Tomori or Olivier Giroud to Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic, Milan have brought in Chelsea rejects in numbers and could be in the mood for another such transfer. Chukwuekema’s wages could have proved to be a stumbling block in leaving Chelsea in the summer. Hence, it’s safe to assume that the Blues might have to sanction a six-month loan deal to get him out of their books and potentially help increase his value at a club where he could get regular game time.
