Turkish giants Besiktas, Fenerbahce, and Galatasaray are in talks to sign Chelsea outcast Ben Chilwell on a season-long loan.
According to a report from HITC, Chelsea are in talks with Turkish clubs as they look to offload Ben Chilwell in the next days. Besiktas, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are all interested in signing the English full-back on a season-long loan and are offering terms that appeal to the London club.
Chilwell has been a part of the Chelsea setup since completing a £50 million move in the summer of 2020. While he was an integral part of their first team in the initial years, the 27-year-old has gone down the pecking order of late. Last season, he was the vice-captain of the club under the leadership of Mauricio Pochettino but could only feature in 21 matches because of injuries.
The arrival of Enzo Maresca at the club has had a huge impact on his future. The English full-back is no longer an important first-team player at Stamford Bridge, and they have been looking to offload the £50 million misfit throughout the summer.
While the Blues did manage to get rid of Raheem Sterling, Armando Broja, and Trevoh Chalobah on transfer deadline day, they could not strike a deal for Chilwell’s departure. Manchester United and Brentford were both linked with the former Leicester City star. But they could reach an agreement to sign him before the end of the window.

The English full-back is in no rush to decide his future. But, with the transfer window still open in a few countries, the Blues have been looking for a potential destination for the 27-year-old. The transfer window in Turkiye remains open until September 13, and Chelsea have held talks with Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Besiktas.
All three Turkish giants are open to signing him, and they are offering terms that appeal to the English club. Chilwell is now considering his options as he is well aware of the fact that staying at the London club could mean he sits on the sidelines until the window reopens in January. A temporary exit will only help him revive himself and prepare for a future away from Stamford Bridge.
