Chelsea open to sanctioning loan exit of Marc Guiu

Chelsea youngster Marc Guiu has been linked with a possible loan move away from the West London club this summer.

According to a report by Give Me Sport, Chelsea are open to sending Marc Guiu out on loan this summer so that he can gain regular game time despite bringing him from Barcelona a few weeks ago.

The former Barcelona wonderkid joined Chelsea earlier this summer. But the Blues will not be able to provide him with ample first-team action. It would be ideal for the player to go out on loan and play regularly. The 18-year-old needs to compete at a high level consistently to continue his development.

Regular football at another club will accelerate his development and help him fulfil his tremendous potential. The attacker recently signed a £100,000-a-week contract with the Blues after completing his move from Barcelona, and he is regarded as a top-class future prospect.

Chelsea will want Guiu to develop into a key player for the club in the long run. However, they need to provide him with a clear pathway to the first team. Sitting on the bench at Chelsea is unlikely to benefit him at this stage of his career.

The attacker is a prodigious talent with the bright future, and he has the technical attributes to developing to a top class player. Chelsea need to find the ideal destination for him where he can continue his development with proper guidance. It remains to be seen where he ends up.

Chelsea are looking to sign a striker

Chelsea are looking to bring in a quality striker before the window closes. They have been linked with players like Victor Osimhen. It will be interesting to see if they can secure an agreement with Napoli for the Nigerian international striker.

Meanwhile, the former Barcelona prodigy is clearly not ready to make his mark in the Premier League just yet, and it would be ideal for him to go out on loan and prepare himself for the English top flight with regular football this season. The 18-year-old could then look to force his way into Enzo Maresca’s plans for the next season.
