Bayern Munich are ready to battle it out with Chelsea and others for the services of Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho.
According to a report from HITC, Vincent Kompany’s Bayern Munich are keen on acquiring the services of Jadon Sancho. They could soon knock on the doors of Manchester United for the services of their English winger, who has been left out of the squad for their first two Premier League games of the season.
Sancho joined the Red Devils in a deal worth a massive £72 million from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2021. While he was expected to be the next big thing, the 24-year-old has not reached the expected levels. After a rift with Erik ten Hag at the start of last season, he was exiled from the first team. After spending the first half of the season on the sidelines, he was loaned back to Dortmund.
The English international managed to revive himself at his former club, and he helped them make it to the UEFA Champions League final during his short loan stint. Following his return to Old Trafford, he was reinstated to the first team, and it looked like the rift between the manager and the player was behind them.
With two years left on his deal, he was expected to play a big part. But he has been left out of their squad for the first two Premier League fixtures which suggests ten Hag does not count on him. As far as Manchester United are concerned, they want to cut their losses and have already informed the player’s representatives that he will be allowed to leave.
While Borussia Dortmund are ready to re-sign Sancho, they cannot afford a permanent move and are hoping Manchester United will sanction another temporary exit. Juventus are also in the mix to sign the English international on loan, and they have been in talks with the Red Devils.
Bayern Munich ready to battle Chelsea for Sancho
Chelsea also seem interested in the former Borussia Dortmund star, and they have asked to be kept informed about his situation at Manchester United. Despite having a lot of quality on the flanks, they seem ready to add Sancho to their squad, as they see it as an opportunity to move the likes of Ben Chilwell and/or Raheem Sterling to ten Hag’s team.
There is no shortage of interest in the services of the 24-year-old winger. Bayern Munich are another European powerhouse that seem interested in the English winger, and they are willing to battle Chelsea as well as other interested clubs.
With the club looking to sanction the departure of Kingsley Coman, they are looking at Sancho as an ideal replacement. Vincent Kompany is believed to be an admirer of the Manchester United star, and they could make a move for him in the final days of the window.
