The 25-year-old academy graduate has been a part of Chelsea’s first team since the summer of 2021. He broke into the team under Thomas Tuchel and had an exceptional start to life at the highest level. However, injuries have seen him slowly go down the pecking order at the London club.

Chalobah has decided to leave Chelsea

While he has fought back on quite a few occasions, Chalobah is no longer a part of their plans moving ahead and they are ready to sanction his departure despite him having four years left on his deal. The Blues pushing for a move away but the English centre-back has been keen on continuing at his childhood club.

But, he seems to have had a major change of heart and is now all set to leave the London club. Chelsea have informed him that he would not be a part of their Premier League squad if he ends up staying at the club. If he wants to play, he will have to leave Stamford Bridge and the player seems to have made up his mind.

West Ham and Crystal Palace want Chalobah

With quite a few top clubs keen on his signature, Chalobah is all set to leave Chelsea. While there is interest from across Europe, the 25-year-old prefers continuing in England. West Ham United and Crystal Palace are both keen on signing the utility man who can feature anywhere at the back as well as a defensive midfielder when needed.

The Eagles are long-term admirers and with Marc Guehi’s future uncertain amidst interest from Newcastle United, they have identified him as a potential target. While the Hammers have added Max Kilman to their squad, they are on the lookout for an ideal partner. West Ham have already established contact to make them aware of their interest.
