Aston Villa win the race for Mason Cotcher

The Sunderland academy product was on trial at Arsenal, and a host of other top clubs wanted to sign him. But, Aston Villa seems to have managed to win the race for his services. They have already booked a medical for the attacking sensation which will take place on Friday.

According to the report from The Telegraph, Aston Villa have reached an agreement with Sunderland for a permanent transfer. Only a few minor details remain, which are expected to be finalised over the weekend.
