According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid have reached a full agreement for the transfer of Conor Gallagher. The Blues’ academy product will be playing for Diego Simeone’s team in the 2024/25 season, and he is all set to undergo his medical today.
Gallagher’s future has been up in the air for a long while. Despite him being one of Chelsea’s mainstays last season, the Blues decided to sanction his departure. The 24-year-old homegrown star’s contract runs out in 12 months. While they were keen on extending his stay, the London club are not willing to meet his demands.
