Arsenal send scouts to watch Viktor Gyokeres

Arsenal are keen on signing the Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres.

The Swedish international has had an impressive campaign with the Portuguese club and his performances have attracted the attention of multiple Premier League clubs.

According to HITC, Arsenal sent scouts to watch the player in action recently. The striker is on the radar of Chelsea and Liverpool as well, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up.

The striker scored 43 goals in all competitions last season and he is one of the best goalscorers in European football right now. He could transform Arsenal in the final third if he joins the club.

Arsenal need to bring in a quality striker this summer. Gabriel Jesus was quite underwhelming last season and he scored just four goals in the league.

Arsenal will need a better player if they wants to win the league title in the upcoming campaign. They will be up against Manchester City and they need quality players to get over the line. The Swedish international could prove to be quality acquisition and he could add some much-needed cutting edge in the final third. The opportunity to join a big club like Arsenal will be quite attractive for the striker as well. It would be a major step up in his career.

The 26-year-old will look to prove himself at the highest level, and it remains to be seen where he ends up eventually.

Chelsea and Liverpool keen on Viktor Gyokeres

Chelsea could use someone like him as well. They were overly dependent on Cole Palmer for goals and creativity last season. They need a reliable striker who can lead the line for them and score goals consistently. Nicolas Jackson has not been able to live up to the expectations.

Similarly, Liverpool need a clinical finisher as well. Darwin Nunez has not been able to score goals consistently, and it will be interesting to see if they can address that problem this summer.

The Sporting CP striker is unlikely to be a cheap acquisition and it will be interesting to see if Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are ready to break the bank for him.
