Bruno Fernandes has been linked with a summer move away from Manchester United, with Al-Ittihad and Al-Nassr vying for his signature.

Bruno Fernandes is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League, and Manchester United will not want to lose him anytime soon. However, Saudi Arabian clubs Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad are keen on signing him in the summer transfer window.

According to reputed Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, the Portuguese international prefers joining Al-Nassr, where he can link up with his compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo. It will be interesting to see if the two Saudi Arabian clubs come forward with official proposals to sign the 29-year-old in the summer transfer window.

Bruno Fernandes is at the peak of his powers, and he would be a sensational acquisition for the Saudi Pro League. Signing someone like him will elevate the status of Saudi football and bring in more global appeal. It seems that the 29-year-old is open to the move, and it will be interesting to see if Manchester United can convince him to stay at Old Trafford despite giving permission to Saudi clubs to speak with him.

Fernandes should continue in the Premier League

The Portuguese international is at the peak of his powers and he should look to compete at the highest level for now. The Manchester United captain will have plenty of opportunities to move to Saudi Arabia or the MLS in the future.

Fernandes is good enough to play for the biggest clubs in the world, and he should look to push for major trophies with Manchester United. The Red Devils will be hoping to compete with Arsenal and Manchester City in the upcoming season, and they cannot hope to do so without their best player.

Fernandes is a proven performer the Premier League, and he is well settled at the club. Replacing him can be tricky even if Manchester United sell him for a premium. Meanwhile, the player might feel that a move to Saudi Arabia could set him up financially for the future. He is likely to pocket a lucrative contract if he moves to Al-Nassr this summer.

Manchester United must do everything in their power to hold on to their best players this summer.  It will be interesting to see how the situation develops. Meanwhile, the Saudi Arabian club will certainly hope that Cristiano Ronaldo can play a key role in convincing his compatriot to move to Saudi Arabia.
