According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool are close to acquiring the services of English youth international Rio Ngumoha from Chelsea this summer. The Reds are ready to break their strict wage structure at the academy level to poach the 15-year-old from their rivals.
Ngumoha has had an impressive rise at Chelsea. He is currently a part of their Under-18 setup and was involved in nine league outings last season. The youngster even had two goal contributions to his name. While he prefers playing out wide on the left flank, he can feature on the opposite flank as well as a number ten.
