According to reputed Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona have decided to abandon the pursuit of Hull City winger Jaden Philogene. The Englishman is a target for Premier League clubs like Crystal Palace and Everton.

Philogene has had an impressive 2023/24 season with the EFL Championship outfit, and he contributed towards 18 goals in all competitions. As iterated, the highly-rated winger is on the radar of Crystal Palace and Everton as well.

Barcelona need to bring in a quality winger this summer, and the 22-year-old would have been a quality long-term investment for them. They even considered a loan-to-buy move for the Englishman.

Philogene has the quality to compete at the highest level and play for the biggest clubs in the world. Crystal Palace and Everton could provide him with the platform to showcase his abilities in the top flight. If the English winger manages to impress with the two clubs, he will be able to join elite clubs in the near future.

The 22-year-old has the physical and technical attributes to do well in the Premier League, and it will be interesting to see if the likes of Crystal Palace or Everton can secure an agreement with the Tigers for his signature.
