According to reputed Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona have decided to abandon the pursuit of Hull City winger Jaden Philogene. The Englishman is a target for Premier League clubs like Crystal Palace and Everton.
Philogene has had an impressive 2023/24 season with the EFL Championship outfit, and he contributed towards 18 goals in all competitions. As iterated, the highly-rated winger is on the radar of Crystal Palace and Everton as well.
Barcelona need to bring in a quality winger this summer, and the 22-year-old would have been a quality long-term investment for them. They even considered a loan-to-buy move for the Englishman.
Philogene has the quality to compete at the highest level and play for the biggest clubs in the world. A move to Barcelona would have been exciting opportunity for him, and he would have been able to compete for major trophies with them. Crystal Palace and Everton keen
