Premier League heavyweights Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly offered a contract to Feyenoord defender Lutsharel Geertruida, a target for Liverpool.
According to a report by Caught Offside, Lutsharel Geertruida is the subject of interest from Tottenham Hotspur. The versatile Feyenoord defender is also a target for Liverpool, with the Eredivisie giants demanding around €20-25 million to part ways with him in the summer transfer window. Meanwhile, the North London giants have submitted a contract to the 23-year-old.
The rapid rise of Lutsharel Geertruida
Lutsharel Geertruida has been a solid performer for Feyenoord since breaking into the first-team squad at Feyenoord. The Dutchman has been with the Eredivisie outfit for over a decade, arriving from Sparta Rotterdam in July 2012. And he has not looked back since making his senior bow.
The 23-year-old has been a mainstay at the back for Feyenoord in the last few seasons, going from strength to strength during this period. Geertruida contributed to 14 goals in 48 outings across all competitions in the 2023/24 season, finding the back of the net nine times while providing five assists.
