West Ham United will hope not to sell Mohammed Kudus this summer amid his links with Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United.
According to a report by Graeme Bailey on HITC, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United are interested in signing Mohammed Kudus in the summer transfer window. However, West Ham United will not entertain any offers to sell the Ghanaian international despite the recent exit links.
Mohammed Kudus and his excellent season with West Ham United
Mohammed Kudus did not take long to establish himself as a pivotal figure for West Ham United after arriving from Ajax last summer. A native of Accra, the 23-year-old spent his formative years in his homeland before arriving in Europe by joining Nordsjaelland. However, his stock soared during his spell with Ajax.
The Ghanaian international was exceptional in the 2023/24 season, contributing to 25 goals in 48 appearances across all competitions for Ajax and West Ham. Kudus found the back of the net 18 times while providing seven assists. Meanwhile, the player’s exploits have not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of high-profile clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United.
A man in demand
Arsenal will likely utilise Kudus as either a backup to Bukayo Saka or an alternative to Gabriel Martinelli. As for Liverpool, they must scour the market for an offensive reinforcement amid uncertainties surrounding the futures of Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz. The West Ham attacker has thus emerged as a viable target for Liverpool.
Meanwhile, Manchester United’s interest in Mohammed Kudus is understandable. While the Ghanaian international primarily prefers to play through the central areas, he is equally adept at reprising a role on the right flank. As for Chelsea, Kudus can be a much-needed prolific addition to the offensive department.
However, while Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United are vying for Mohammed Kudus’s services, a summer move might not see the light of day. The report has claimed that West Ham will not entertain any offers for the 23-year-old attacker.
