West Ham United reportedly value Juventus prospect Matias Soule at a little more than half of the asking price of €40 million.
According to a report by Italian outlet Tuttosport, Matias Soule is the subject of interest from West Ham United. The Hammers are scouring the market for an offensive reinforcement heading into the summer transfer window. However, Juventus’s asking price of €40 million poses a problem, with the East London club valuing the 21-year-old at a little more than half of the sum.
Matias Soule and his upturn in fortunes
Matias Soule has risen in prominence after a superb 2023/24 campaign on loan at Frosinone Calcio. A right-winger by trade, the youngster, on loan from Juventus, can also reprise central roles, although he primarily played on the right flank for the Canaries.
The 21-year-old contributed to 14 goals in 36 Serie A appearances for Frosinone Calcio, finding the back of the net 11 times while providing three assists. Soule’s successful stint with the Italian outfit has ended, returning to Juventus, with his long-term future at the Allianz Stadium uncertain.
However, Soule does not have a shortage of suitors pursuing him, with several well-known clubs setting their sights on him. Premier League outfits, in particular, are keen on signing the Argentine winger, with West Ham United among his prospective suitors from the English top flight.

West Ham United recently joined the race to sign Matias Soule from Juventus. The East London club’s interest in the young attacker is understandable, considering Lucas Paqueta faces an uncertain future in the game due to his betting scandal. The Juventus prospect has thus emerged as a viable target for West Ham.
The Hammers have already held talks with Matias Soule’s representatives. However, the price tag might be an issue, with Juventus demanding €40 million to part ways with him in the summer transfer window. On the other hand, West Ham United value him at a little over half of that price.
With West Ham not interested in coughing up €40 million to secure Matias Soule’s services, the two clubs might have to compromise on their stance. It will be interesting to see where the 21-year-old Argentine winger plies his trade next season.
