The 22-year-old highly-rated goalkeeper is available on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract at Wolves, as his homegrown status makes him an exciting addition.

Manchester United are not particularly flush with talent in their goalkeeping ranks, as it is an area they are keen to strengthen this summer. The Red Devils have Andre Onana as their undisputed first choice and Altay Biyandir as the deputy. Tom Heaton remains their third choice, as he could discuss a new deal with the club to continue in that role.
Manchester United might look for a new keeper to be their third-choice stopper or replace Altay Biyandir as their second keeper after the Turkish star endured a difficult season. Erik ten Hag, who will remain the club’s manager next season, will not want an inexperienced presence behind Onana, and should he replace Biyandir, it might be with the view of bringing intense competition for the Cameroonian.

He never managed to play a senior game for the team despite signing for the club in 2021. He enjoyed competent loan spells in the past two seasons.

With Heaton set to stay, he may be a future challenger for the third spot or second in the future. Meanwhile, his homegrown status does make him an attractive proposition for any English side, especially the Red Devils.

With Andre Onana’s place in Erik ten Hag’s plans secure, they might consider offers for Biyandir and then look to bring in competition for the Cameroonian. Real Sociedad’s Alex Remiro is a rumoured target, although the chances of him coming to Old Trafford are remote owing to the big fees the Spanish side might demand.
There’s interest in Anreiy Lunin of Real Madrid, who is ready to leave in search of first-team football, although, at Manchester United, he must oust Onana from his perch. Hence, there’s a big chance that the Red Devils are indeed looking for new goalkeepers in the close season, possibly as a replacement for Biyandir.
