According to Give Me Sport, the 22-year-old midfielder’s agents have already held talks with the English clubs regarding a potential move. It will be interesting to see if Arsenal and Manchester United come forward with an offer to sign Amadou Onana in the coming weeks.

Onana has been a key player for Everton, and his departure will be a massive blow for them. It will be interesting to see if they are ready to sanction his departure this summer. The Toffees paid £33 million for the Belgian midfielder, and they will look to recoup a premium for him.

Arsenal need a quality defensive midfielder to start alongside Declan Rice, and Amadou Onana would be a superb addition. The Belgian international will add physicality and defensive cover to the Arsenal midfield, and he will also help them tighten up defensively.

Similarly, Manchester United need a quality holding midfielder who can protect the defensive unit and break up opposition attacks. Casemiro has been quite mediocre, and Onana could be an upgrade on the Brazilian. Both clubs will be desperate to improve their squads this summer and Onana would improve their immensely. It remains to be seen whether they can agree on a deal with Everton in the coming weeks. Both Arsenal and Manchester United have the financial muscle to pay a substantial amount of money for the player.

Onana will want to join a big club

The opportunity to join clubs like Arsenal and Manchester United will be hard to turn down for Amadou Onana as well. It would be a major step up in his career, and he will look to prove himself at the highest level.

Everton have been fighting the relegation battle in recent seasons, and they will look to improve next year. They must hold on to their best players in order to do well. It remains to be seen whether they can convince the player to continue at Goodison Park next season. They could be powerless to stop him from leaving if the midfielder decides to force an exit this summer.

Amadou Onana will feel that he has shown his quality in the Premier League, and he might look to join a big club capable of winning trophies now. Arsenal and Manchester United could provide him with that opportunity.
