AC Milan keep Jakub Kiwior high on summer wishlist

AC Milan have made Arsenal’s versatile defender Jakub Kiwior a top target for the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to Santi Aouna, AC Milan are looking to reinforce their defence ahead of next season. They want to have more depth at the back, and Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior is quite high on their wishlist. The Italian giants failed with an attempt to sign him in the winter but are looking well-prepared to get it over the line in the summer.

Kiwior made a name for himself while playing for Spezia Calcio before making the move to the Gunners in the winter of 2023. Since joining Mikel Arteta‘s team, he has featured in a total of 38 matches, and 30 of those appearances came in the 2023/24 season.

The Polish international might not be their first-choice left-back, but he has shown great promise in the limited game time that he has had. While his contract with the English giants’ runs until the summer of 2028, clubs are willing to prise him away ahead of next season.

AC Milan keen on Kiwior’s services

AC Milan are one of the clubs who have been monitoring the 24-year-old for a while now. They knocked on Arsenal’s door for his signature during the January transfer window. Unfortunately, they could not strike a deal for him back then. However, Milan retain their interest in Kiwior and are all set to push again for him in the summer.

The Serie A giants want to reinforce their defence in the summer. They feel Kiwior could be a great fit for the club as he is capable enough to feature as a left-back and in the heart of the defence. His versatility will give them multiple options to choose from.

AC Milan have made the Arsenal defender their priority target for the upcoming window. While they are keen on his signature, they are waiting to finalise a coach before pushing for him. They want to ensure the incoming manager gives the green light to the move and is happy to have the 24-year-old at his disposal. The Italian outfit are willing to push hard for his services but it will be interesting to see if Arsenal have any intentions of letting him leave.
