Napoli will not sell Khvicha Kvaratskhelia this summer

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been linked with a summer move away from Napoli, with Arsenal and Liverpool interested in him.

According to HITC, Arsenal and Liverpool have been keen on signing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and the latest development will come as a major blow for them. Napoli are unwilling to sell the 23-year-old the summer, and it remains to be seen whether Arsenal and Liverpool decide to try their luck anyway.

The Georgian winger is highly rated across Europe, and he has 20 goal contributions this season. He could have been a key player for Arsenal or Liverpool next season. Napoli plan to hold on to him beyond this summer, and it remains to be seen how the situation develops.

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has been linked with an exit as well, and it seems the Serie A club do not want to sell two key players in one window. The Nigerian international is more likely to leave this summer.

Arsenal and Liverpool could use Kvaratskhelia

The 23-year-old winger has the potential to develop into a world class player, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up. He will want to join a big club in the near future. Arsenal and Liverpool are some of the biggest clubs in the world, and the opportunity to play for them can be quite attractive.

It seems that the Napoli winger will have to wait another year for a move away from Italy. Meanwhile, Arsenal need more depth in the wide areas, and they have not been able to rotate players like Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli due to a lack of depth in the squad.

As far as Liverpool are concerned, Mohamed Salah has a contract with them until 2025, and they will have to plan for his departure. The Napoli winger could have been a quality addition. It remains to be seen whether the two clubs decide to test Napoli’s resolve with a premium offer before the window closes.

Both Liverpool and Arsenal will be hoping to win the league title next season, and someone like Kvaratskhelia could make a huge difference for them in the final third.
