Dani Olmo will only leave RB Leipzig for ‘something exciting’

Dani Olmo is open to leaving RB Leipzig but only for ‘something exciting’, as a host of clubs form a queue for the Spaniard.

According to Sport via Sport Witness, Dani Almo is ready to quit RB Leipzig but only for ‘something exciting’. A host of clubs, including Barcelona, Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United, are among those keen on the attacking midfielder, who has a €60 million release clause.

Dani Olmo to leave RB Leipzig?

Dani Olmo has been sensational for RB Leipzig since signing for the club, and now the time may have come for him to try out a new challenge. The Spanish international has a contract release clause worth €60 million, and the German side will likely demand that in full should any club come in for his signature.

In fact, Olmo is relatively open to leaving the club despite being relatively happy with his current surroundings. However, he will only leave for ‘something exciting’, which refers to a project some club might be able to offer him and prise him away, although he will have no shortage of suitors in the market

Clubs like Barcelona and Tottenham are considered front runners in the chase for the €60 million-rated attacker, but there could be doubts about either one signing him. For the Catalans, it’s not a question of their interest, although their finances might prevent them from paying what’s necessary to sign Olmo.

Tottenham are an exciting project for Olmo to consider and they will not have any qualms paying what’s needed, but their lack of Champions League football may have an effect. Olmo also has the interest of Liverpool and Manchester City, with the duo likely to have a greater appeal compared to Spurs.

Arsenal and Manchester United also in Olmo’s chase

Arsenal could part ways with two of their attacking midfielders, Emile Smith-Rowe and probably even Fabio Vieira, after the dupo endured a difficult season at the Emirates. Bringing in a player like Olmo would certainly improve Arteta’s squad ahead of next season, which makes the Spaniard a good option to consider.

Manchester United are also on the lookout for an attack-minded player as they could potentially lose some of their attackers as well as Christian Eriksen. Overall, the Premier League giants do have a requirement for a player like Olmo, as their entry into the chase might spice up the transfer saga.
