Borussia Dortmund are the latest club to express interest in signing Mason Greenwood in the summer, and at least three more are keen.
According to The Daily Mirror, Manchester United must decide on Mason Greenwood, although all signs point towards an exit for the controversial footballer. Borussia Dortmund have become the latest club to join the race for the attacker, with Napoli, Juventus, and Atletico Madrid also keen.
Manchester United to sell Mason Greenwood?
Manchester United must make their final decision on the futures of many of their current footballers, with Mason Greenwood at the very top of that list. The on-loan Getafe forward has had a productive season in Spain after getting away from the spotlight of the Premier League and the English media.
Over at Getafe, he has had a hand in at least 16 goals all season, with eight strikes and six assists in his name. His performances have certainly attracted plenty of interest from fellow Spanish sides, with Atletico Madrid keen. Getafe also wanted to explore another loan move, but the conditions may not suit Manchester United in such an agreement.
Borussia Dortmund are now keen to explore a move for Greenwood, with the Champions League finalists also keen on signing Jadon Sancho on a permanent basis. Manchester United will want more than £100 million sales of those players and some more, meaning they are not willing to let their stars depart on the cheap.
Manchester United want to sell Greenwood in this window, although Sir Jim Ratcliffe has not yet made his final decision on his future. If they get a good enough offer, the Red Devils will allow the forward to be sold.
Juventus and Napoli are also keen
Serie A giants are considering a move for Greenwood, with Napoli the latest team to explore a move. Juventus has also been keen, as both clubs are looking to bolster their forward line ahead of the summer window. Napoli might have to look for a Victor Osimhen replacement, although Greenwood is not the type of profile to play up front on a consistent basis based on his game at Getafe.
Juventus might look for an alternative to Dusan Vlahovic should they end up selling the Serb. However, with the system in place in Turin, Greenwood might be seen as one of the wide forwards they might seek in the summer.
