Al-Hilal are interested in acquiring the services of Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara amid interest from Inter Milan and Juventus.
According to a report from Fichajes, Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal are looking to add Thiago Alcantara to their squad ahead of next season. The Spanish international seems all set to part ways with Liverpool, and there is a lot of interest in his services.
Thiago joined Liverpool in the summer of 2020 after impressive spells at Bayern Munich and Barcelona. He was expected to play a big part at the Merseyside club, but his time at the club has been marked with injuries. He has only featured in 98 matches throughout the years.
The Spanish international has been injured for the majority of the 2023/24 season. He has only been on the pitch for five minutes and with his contract running out in the summer, he looks all set for a new experience.
The Reds are unlikely to hand him a new deal and with the 33-year-old available for free, there is no shortage of interest in him. Serie A giants Juventus and Inter Milan are both keen on his signature.
Juventus, Inter Milan, Al-Hial interest in Thiago
The Old Lady are looking to reinforce their midfield ahead of next season, and they could prove to be one of the best possible destinations for Thiago. Juventus would love to have someone of his calibre and experience in their squad.
His ability to control the tempo of the game, and his vision could do wonders for them. As far as Inter Milan are concerned, they have been interested in the Spanish midfielder for a while now. They are looking for a player with high technical and tactical ability to bolster their midfield, and Thiago seems to be a great fit for Simone Inzaghi’s team that are looking to take the next step.
