Lucas Paqueta has been a top-class signing for West Ham United since arriving from Lyon in a deal worth £51 million in August 2022. A graduate of the Flamengo youth division, the 26-year-old’s first foray into Europe came with AC Milan, although he had a frustrating stint with the Serie A outfit.
The move to Lyon in September 2020 resurrected his stuttering career. And the Brazilian international has gone from strength to strength at West Ham United in the last two years.
