Manchester United, Bayern Munich front-runners to sign Adrien Rabiot

Manchester United and Bayern Munich are front-runners for the services of French World Cup-winning midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

According to Corriere Torino via Sport Witness, Manchester United and Bayern Munich are both keen on having Adrien Rabiot in their ranks. The French midfielder’s future has once again become the talk of the town, and there is no shortage of interest in his services.

Rabiot has been a consistent performer for Juventus over the years and just like last summer, his future is once again up in the air with his contract running out at the end of the season. While the Italian giants did manage to keep him at the club by offering him a new one-year deal last time out, things could be a bit more complicated this time around.

Massimiliano Allegri played a big part in convincing the 29-year-old to commit his future to the club for another season. But, with the Italian manager likely to depart, Rabiot’s decision might depend on who takes over as the new Juventus manager.

Adrien Rabiot has not made a final decision yet, but he wants his future sorted before heading into the Euro 2024. While his mother, Veronique, who acts as his agent, has been in constant contact with Juventus regarding a potential new deal, the options to make a move elsewhere are also open.

Bayern Munich, Manchester United United keen on signing Rabiot

While there are other clubs in the mix, the two European giants are leading the race at this stage as per the report. Manchester United have been linked with the 29-year-old on multiple occasions in the past. They might not have managed to sign him so far. But they are willing to make an effort once again in the upcoming transfer window.

The Red Devils see it as a great opportunity to sign a world-class midfielder for free. Erik ten Hag wants him at Old Trafford ahead of next season, and Adrien Rabiot is attracted by the idea of playing in the Premier League, which could help Manchester United in their pursuit.

But, they will face significant competition from Bayern Munich. The German giants are another club who have been interested in Rabiot for a while now. They are looking to reinforce their midfield ahead of next season and they feel the 29-year-old could be an ideal fit for their system. He has a lot of experience, and his recent performances suggest he could do wonders for them.
