Tottenham are very much keen on Kevin Denkey ahead of the next window with Ange Postecoglou chasing a prolific goalscorer.

According to Fussball Transfers, Kevin Denkey has landed on Tottenham’s attacking shortlist, with Ange Postecoglou looking for a new striker. The Cercle Brugge star has stuck 26 times in all competitions for the Belgia side, with several continental clubs also chasing for his signature.

Tottenham are keeping tabs on Kevin Denkey

The Belgian league is quite indifferent in its format, and the final championship round, which consists of six clubs, also features Cercle Brugge. They are in that position courtesy of their prolific 26-goal frontman, Kevin Denkey, who might leave in the summer as a host of top clubs are chasing his signature.

Tottenham had been scouting the 23-year-old striker for some time now, and they might make definitive enquiries for him ahead of the summer. Ange Postecoglou has been looking for a new striker to add to his squad and may have narrowed down on the Cercle Brugge striker.

They are also looking at Ivan Toney as an option, with the 28-year-old an experienced head of Premier League football. However, Postecoglou might also think about the future and add an exciting talent like the 23-year-old Denky, who might prove valuable for the club in the long term.

Tottenham may make definitive enquiries for the 23-year-old striker in the summer. Cercle Brugge reportedly demands 20 million for the striker, and the price may not be an issue. Still, the growing interest of continental clubs might become a problem for Spurs in the chase for Denkey.

Apart from Tottenham, who may offer Denkey a chance at Premier League football, other sides are also keen on the 23-year-old striker. Bayer Leverkusen are notably one of the most prominent suitors in this race, with Xabi Alonso, fresh from his Bundesliga triumph looking at additions to his attacking setup.

Borussia Dortmund are also in the hunt, while Napoli are also credited with an interest, per the report. For the price reported, many other sides might also take their chances with the 23-year-old striker, but Spurs could have the upper hand if they are early to make a deal with Cercle Brugge.
