Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing 22-year-old Eintracht Frankfurt defender Willian Pacho.

According to German journalist Florian Plettenberg, Arsenal and Liverpool have now submitted enquiries to sign Willian Pacho at the end of the season. The Eintracht Frankfurt defender is likely to cost around €50-60 million in the summer transfer window.

Pacho has established himself as one of the reliable defenders in the Bundesliga, and he could prove to be a solid acquisition for Arsenal and Liverpool. So, it is hardly surprising that the two Premier League clubs are keen on signing him.

Arsenal need to add more depth to their squad to do well across multiple fronts, and Willian Pacho would be a quality long-term addition for them. At Liverpool, he could be the ideal replacement for Joel Matip, who will likely be a free agent in the summer.

Liverpool must look to bring in a quality central defender, and the Ecuadorian international could prove to be the ideal acquisition. However, the reported €50-60 millionasking price could be a bit of a problem for both teams.

Arsenal and Liverpool will look to bring in a defender who will be a squad player for them and they might not want to pay €50-60 million for a backup defender. It will be interesting to see if Eintracht Frankfurt are prepared to sell him for a reasonable price.

Willian Pacho might fancy Premier League move

The defender will certainly be tempted to join clubs like Arsenal and Liverpool. They are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and the opportunity to join them can be tempting for any player. Both clubs could provide them with the platform to compete for major trophies in the coming seasons.

It will be interesting to see where he ends up eventually. A move to the Premier League will be an exciting opportunity for him, and he would get to test himself against the best attackers in the world in English football.

Pacho has been linked with other European bigwigs as well, and it seems that a summer exit could be on the cards for him. The 22-year-old has been a key player for Eintracht Frankfurt, and the German outfit will want to recoup as much as possible for his services.
